After Royal Media services fired Evelyne Wambui who exposed fake Doctor Mugo wa Wairimu Nation Media Group has done it yet again. The giant media house seems to be pulling triggers on anyone who is deemed unwanted along Kimathi Street, or anyone not towing the line.
Reports indicate that the latest victims of the unforgiving media house are two established editors, Mugumo Munene and Andrew Teyie, who have allegedly been given sacking letters telling them they are redundant.
Munene has been holding the position of News Editor on Sunday Nation stories while Teyie was an investigations editor.
Mugumo has been one of NMG’s most colourful journalists and his appointment as news editor of the Sunday Nation was seen as reward for nearly two decades of hard work and commitment on the Daily Nation.
Grapevine has it that Tom Mshindi, the man who has never shied away from courting controversy at will, may have yet again landed on the two editors over a story he never wanted published.
More to follow on this story as it unfolds…..
