Moses Wetangula the co-principal in the ‘cord’ coalition was making headlines over the weekend for wrong reasons.
The Bungoma senator is said to have been beaten by the wife over what is rumored to be infidelity, Moses Wetang’ula reported that he was beaten by the wife while the wife Ann reported a similar case.
It is not clear who beat who but the fact is both of them had scuffle that became a police case. However is said to have withdrew the case.
One man who is loved and hated in equal measure however is Nderitu Njoka the ‘Maendeleo ya Wanaume’ chairman who came out to defend Moses Wetang’ula saying that he did a very honorable thing for reporting assault to the police.
Nderitu Njoka said that there are many prominent people who are going through what Moses went through but fail to report.
“We have so many similar cases affecting such prominent people but they don’t like it coming into the limelight or even report to the authorities for fear of damaging their reputations”
The ‘Maendeleo ya Wanaume’ Chairman continued to praise the Bungoma Senator saying that he is ‘a man who has shown others how to do things the right way’.
