The year has started well with adored international musicians streaming in the country for great performances. Alaine who was in Kenya recently is first to the hopefully ongoing list of great artists as Kenyans also prepares to welcome Aloe Blacc, an American soul artist popularly known for his song ‘Wake me up.’
The 37 year old who goes by the name Egbert Nathaniel Dawkins III, but well known as Aloe Black is expected in Kenya this April. The multi-talented artist who happens to be a vocalist, a song writer,an actor and among others a songwriter is expected in the country and many of his fans all over the city.
Blacc’s visit was announced by the popularly known Nairobi’s premier, Blankets and Wines an event that takes place on every first Sunday of the month where people bring with them Maasai shukas, picnic chairs and some wine.
It is an East Africa’s premier music experience that showcase talent and also brings people together especially family and friends.
The festival has created a music base and it is a sure way of spending a Sunday evening to those people that come from within and around Nairobi.The artist is set to perform at the Ngong Racecourse when he land in the country.
