A couple of Chinese couple have left many in surprise after they decided to hold a mass at the SGR Nairobi terminus.
The couples met during its construction and wanted to put a happy in the work they did together where they met only to end up as couples.
“We met here in Kenya and got married in this beautiful country. Kenya will always remain etched in our minds wherever we shall be. It is a country we cherish and whose people are very hospitable,” they said.
Their Kenyan colleagues gathered to witness the unique ceremony, which they described as unusually brief. “Our Chinese counterparts will never cease to amaze. The wedding ceremony was astonishingly brief but colorful,” Chris Musyoki told the couples.
The newlyweds plan to go back to their country after the official launch of the railway on 31st May.
