Television personality Lulu Hassan is one happy woman after recently adding an extra feather to her cap.
The popular Swahili news anchor who is also a producer and has been for a while, has landed a new deal with Maisha Magic East to produce the first Swahili telenovela in Kenya. MAZA aired for the first time on August the 21st.
Just like other soaps, the show follows an interesting story line with hints of drama here and there and is already capturing the imaginations of many.
It revolves around the life of a once successful family that crushes on the envy of a best friend as the friend breaks the bonds within the family.
The show depicts real life cases surrounding friendships. It also shows the use of supernatural powers to satisfy greed for wealth. And as you might have guessed already, it is set in the coastal city of Mombasa.
This is not the first time however that the beautiful newscaster is producing a show. Lulu is also the brains behind Moyo under contract from her employer Citizen TV and the Royal Media by extension.
Lulu Hassan will continue reading news on Citizen TV.
