Embattled gospel singer Bahati on Friday revealed that he was called by State House officials on Tuesday regarding his performance during the Jubilee Grand Launch last weekend at Kasarani.
Speaking on Citizen TV popular show 10 Over 10, Bahati revealed that he was invited to State House due to his electrifying performance at the event.
“State House officials called me on Tuesday… they informed me that the First lady Margaret Kenyatta had never witnessed such a performance before… I even got an invite,”
Earlier, Bahati apologised to anyone who felt that he disrespected the President after unseating him and occuoying his seat as he sang his song Mama to First lady Margaret Kenyatta.
His actions have during the event sparked controversy with a section of Kenyans saying he had breached protocols.
