Drama erupted after Rarieda MP Nicholas Gumbo addressed residents and told them about the difficulties he faced as a child.
Gumbo was doing his political campaigns asking people to vote for him and not his opponent Siaya governor Cornel Rasanga.
He said: “I was brought up by a poor father who could not even afford a blanket for us to cover ourselves,” during a mass service on Sunday.
Rasanga did not take this lightly and went hard on to attack the MP uttering unnecessary words to his opponent that has clearly shown the political differences and hate between the leaders expected to brig peace and unite resident.
He was quoted: ”He should blame his mother for marrying a poor man, thus making him have a difficult childhood.”
