Kenya Defense Force soldier committed suicide shortly after coming back home from war-torn country Somalia. Joash Ochieng Magar who committed suicide at his home in Busia was due to retire on March this year.
Though it is reported that the soldier, 52, was going through mental problems after the return from Somalia, was not serious until the incident.
However, it is not yet clear of what really triggered the death and sources reveal that police are conducting investigations on the matter.
This is not the first time our patriotic brothers from the Kenya Defense Force die immediately after duty from Somalia.
Stanely Kipkolomit also a KDF soldier was found dead outside his home two days after returning from Somalia.
Though in his case, it was reported that it was a set up related to love triangles in his home. His wife who found blood stains on the door the night when Stanely was killed alerted the neighbors.
Later his body was found brutally mutilated and displaced a few steps from his house.
These soldiers from the war-torn country come to die at home in very disturbing manner and this has raised concerns of the farewell of these soldiers and their mental state after coming back from war zones.
