Linet Munyali popularly known as Size 8 a reformed secular musician narrates her sad experience and how she almost got a miscarriage twice during her second trimester.
Size 8 started having a lot of stress after her mother got admitted in hospital, something that affected the entire family. Later, Linet’s mother underwent a successful surgery in India and returned home. She was getting well before the situation persisted.
It was a difficult time and size 8 developed high blood pressure after learning that her mother was unwell. She said that, the blood pressure affected her placenta– a useful organ that supplies the baby with adequate oxygen and nutrients and she almost had a miscarriage.
Size 8 also disclosed that she was twice rushed to the emergency room due to her pressure levels which had increased above normal.
“When my late mum was critically ill, I got hypertension. I was so close to her. The condition affected my placenta. Most of the times, I was in and out of hospital. I was thus rushed to the emergency room twice. My blood pressure had risen above normal, and it was not good for the baby,”
Size 8’s mother succumbed to kidney illness a day after she gave birth to her baby. It was a happy moment and a sad one too. However, her baby Ladasha Bella has grown into a fine and beautiful baby resembling his father.
