How Equity Bank CEO James Mwangi was conned Sh300 million by politician

Equity Bank CEO James Mwangi has emerged as the third complainant in the case involving a land transaction between United States International University, businessman George Kiongera and the seller former President Daniel Moi.

Mwangi has revealed that he paid Moi KSh 300 million in the year 2012 while Kiongera had earlier claimed the figure to be KSh 500 million.

The CEO to the top bank now wants both the United States International University and businessman George Kiongera evicted from the land saying that he is the real owner having bought the item through his real estate company Muthaiga Luxury Homes Limited

He further said that he has been paying land rates for the piece of land and only got to know of the other claims through media outlets.
