Controversial SONU chairman Babu Owino made headlines in 2016 after using the ‘Tibim’ word to show his support to NASA flag bearer Raila Odinga.

After that the word spread like bush fire and just like ‘ndani ndanii ndaniii’ ‘Tibim’ became the trending word.

However the origin of ‘Tibim’ happens to be a song from a Luo artist known as Joseph Onyango.

joseph1_262017Speaking to a source Onyango revealed that the song ‘Tibim’ was his first and that he did not expect the song to be well received. Now he wants NASA politicians to pay him for using his song.
