A middle aged man who was arrested for threatening to kill his dad has defended himself by saying what prompted him to threaten the old man that shocked the judge. He said that his dad has been philandering around for the last 21 years after the death of his mother.
David Nderitu aged 30 threaten his dad Moses Muregi on March 9 at their home when his dad requested him to wash his car but instead he turned violent and hurled insults and threats at him.
David started picking stones to throw at his dad while cursing him adding that he had a hand in his mother’s death. It is reported that Nderitu was under influence of alcohol and bhang at the time.
He was arrested and released on a cash bail of Sh. 20,000 and his case will be mentioned on September 22.
