Just days after the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) announced the results of the August 8, 2017 elections, the victors are busy sending out invites to their swearing in ceremonies.
One of them is singer Jaguar who was able to thrash fellow candidates to emerge victorious in the Starehe parliamentary race. Among those he floored is his bitter rival Steve Mbogo (ODM) as well as Boniface Mwangi ‘Ule wa nguruwe’.
Jaguar is transitioning from a well respected musician to a politician but one thing proves to be constant as he changes careers -controversy.
We have established that the ‘Warrior’ hitmaker has invited Tanzanian actress Irene Uwoya to his inauguration ceremony. Not that there’s anything wrong for a Tanzanian beauty to grace a party in Kenya, but there’s a little rumour going round that the married actress and the singer have a mpango wa kando thingy going on.
Tanzanian blogs, and Kenyan too, have run stories recently that the controversial actress had an affair with the ‘Kigeugeu’ star, that he’s the reason why her marriage is currently on the rocks.
A popular Tanzania blog by the name UdakuTZ confirmed the invite saying she will be in Kenya for two upcoming events; Jaguar’s and President Uhuru Kenyatta inauguration ceremonies, fueling further rumours that perhaps the two might be more than just friends as she has claimed previously.
Irene is a former Miss Tanzania beauty pageant contestant and is considered as one of the top celebrities there, usually grouped in the same list as socialite Zari Hassan.
She is an A-List actress with over 20 Tanzanian Bongo movies under her belt.
