The National Super Alliance (NASA) running mate, also Wiper Party leader – Kalonzo Musyoka – has pleaded with Johnstone Muthama to reconsider his threat to quit the party.
This happened barely a day after Muthama complained that the former vice president was running the party like a dictator by imposing preferred candidates including Wavinya Ndeti and Julius Malombe to the people of Ukambani.
“You don’t know why I choose the name Stephen, in the bible, Stephen was pelted with stones and right before he died, he asked God to forgive his attackers,” Kalonzo noted.
He pleaded with all leaders associated with Wiper to work together in order to ensure that President Uhuru Kenyatta and the Jubilee Party go home in the forthcoming elections slated for August 8.
Meanwhile, a press briefing which had been arranged by Malombe and Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana in response to Muthama’s claims was cancelled off at the very last minute.
Tomorrow, Thursday May 11, Wiper will convene a sitting where Kalonzo ally turned rival Muthama, shall be grilled on his threats to leave Wiper.
