The national sevens rugby team has made it to the final of the Singapore Sevens where they will meet Fiji on Sunday afternoon at 2.38p.m

A last gasp Collins Injera penalty 40m out was enough for Kenya to snatch a 15-12 victory against a polished Argentina in a tightly contested Cup semis match.

Shujaa made it to the semis after overpowering France 28-7 in the quarters. This is the second time Kenya has reached the final in the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series.

Kenya was once lucky to sneak through to the Cup quarters after losing their last Pool ā€œCā€ match 14-0 to South Africa on Saturday at the National Stadium, Singapore.

Having beaten Russia 21-7 before drawing with Scotland 12-12 in Pool ā€œCā€ in the day, Kenya failed to go past their continental rivals but sneaked through on points difference.

Scotland, who had lost to South Africa 33-0 before beating Russia 36-17 in their last pool match, finished third while Russia wound last in the group.
