On the 31st December, 2016 KTN news anchor’s class E 220 Benz was recovered in Kisumu after KTN’s news editor Aaron Ochieng’ stole it from the Standard Group parking lot.
The car was found with different number plates with Aaron Ochieng’ on it. According to Doreen at around 8pm the day the car went missing she noticed that her car keys were missing from her desk and she went to confirm whether the car was still there.
The TV personality immediately reported the loss of the car to security and transport officer who launched a hunt for the missing car.
After arresting Ochieng’ he claimed that Doreen was aware of the whole deal and that she was pretending. He was released on a Ksh 1 million bond or a cash bail of Ksh 300,000 as his case resume on February.
Now during a recent court hearing Ochieng’ admitted that he had wrongly accused Doreen and apologized for implicating her in the dirty theft and he is seeking an out-of-court deal with her.
