Sonko has been named among the worst performers in parliament contributions. He is a controversial man and makes headlines most of the times in media but apparently Sonko is just but a quiet man when it comes to senate plenary sessions.
This has comes as a shock to many Kenyans who watch this renowned Nairobi’s Senator who appears in the news more time than any other senator.
However Sonko is not the only Lazy political leader who spend their time sleeping in parliament sessions. Sources reveal that twenty seven members of parliament out of a total of 349 did not contribute to any plenary debates in the previous year.
The worst among them all was our own Senator, Mike Sonko and nominated senator, Hosea Ochwangi in 2015.
On top of the extreme embarrassment from this so-called representatives, among the 27 lazy individuals who apparently go to this honored houses (parliament house and senate house) expected to pass the voices of Kenyans they represent, five of them have actually never spoken in parliament.
The list of shame includes; Alex Kosgey-Emgwen, Kipruto Moi-Rongi, Isaac Wahinya-Roysambu, Oscar Sudi-Kapseret among others.
This are just but a few leaders that are looked upon by the common Kenyan to air their views to parliament for a more effective economic development.
The Executive Director of Mzalendo Trust’s said that all law makers are expected to talk, argue and air views and opinions and that they have no room for laziness and being silent.
