Mombasa County governor Hassan Joho was in the U.S to discuss rising violent extremism in the Coastal region.
Joho has been making headlines after his name appeared in the list of drug lords being investigated by U.S Federal Bureau Investigations (FBI).
Now Joho’s County faces a major blow following a move made by KRA in freezing his county’s major accounts due to an unpaid debt of around Ksh 173 million.
Speaking to a source Joho’s Communication Director Richard Chacha confirmed that their accounts had been frozen. The move will greatly affect the county’s operations if its not handled immediately.
