Yesterday was worlds press freedom day and media personalities gathered together to celebrate it and air their grievances.
Well Nation media top head commented on the issue that occurred during the Jubilee nominations when Moses Kuria altered the F word on live Tv.
Linas Kaikai told the journalist on duty that day
“To the incident in Gatundu South, I can only say, all shame to you Moses Kuria for conducting yourself inconsistently below the dignity of the office and the title you hold. To our journalist Muriithi, I assure you this is not the last insult you will receive in the course of duty,” Kaikai said.
Not one to take such kindly, Kuria hopped on social media hours later to respond to Kaikai in kind, and he too shamed the media house and Kenyan journalists in general.
“To Linus Kaikai I say unto you. For so long the media in Kenya has exercised the prerogative of the harlot, the exercise of power without responsibility. You can use your platforms like tin gods and little despots all you want but I will never kowtow to media tyrants,” Kuria wrote.
Surprisingly Moses Kuria had some back up from Kenyans who sided by him.
