Newly elected governor Mike Sonko’s first move after he is sworn in will surely mean change in his new governance.
Sonko has sworn to give the people best performance and his first move will be to bring back order and ensure the City Hall tender-entrepreneurs are doing things by the book.
The governor said once he is sworn in he will put in place elaborate process that will ensure genuine contractors and suppliers.
The politician turned down a Kes 25 million set aside for his inauguration ceremony and instead ordered the money to be used for county staff within 48 hours to avert planned strike by the workers over the nonpayment.
Could this mean a new and fresh start for Nairobi?
