Nairobi County Assembly on Thursday afternoon session was interrupted after a section of MCA’s turned against each other.
Viwandani MCA Samuel Nyangwara is said to have tabled a motion to impeach Governor Evans Kidero that led to him being attacked.
The MCA’s were caught on camera shoving each other as Sergeant-at-Arms struggled to control the situation.
Addressing the press after the scuffle, Mr Nyangwara claimed he was roughed up by CORD MCA’s who robbed him.
“They beat me and stole my phone and Sh5,000,” the county lawmaker said.
The scuffle begun when the county assembly speaker Alex Ole Magelo approved the motion and gave a go-ahead for it to be discussed.
