Nairobi gubernatorial seat faces stiff competition come August considering the politicians vying for the seat.
Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko swore to compete against the seating Governor Evans Kidero before Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth declared his come back.
Now Sonko has threatened to leave Jubilee and vie as an independent candidate if the President should endorse Gatanga MP Peter Kenneth.
”I welcome Peter Kenneth to Nairobi but i don’t support him, if he is given a direct nomination by the president then i will vie as an independent candidate. I must be on the ballot paper”
The Senator is supported by Dagoreti South MP Dennis Waweru, Bishop Margaret Wanjiru and nominated MP Johnstone Sakaja.
