The celebrated prime time news anchor at Citizen TV Janet Mbugua Ndichu who welcomed the bundle of joy on 26th of October 2015 shared her experience of motherhood.
Through her YouTube channel Janet says that sometimes it’s not easy to balance between work, taking care of the baby and the man of the house.
Janet Mbugua who started her career at 19 says that its demanding since one is constantly feeding, following up and making sure that the baby is happy, well fed, and clean.
The award winning journalist says that she feels guilty since she is forced to leave the baby for a whole night with the nanny so that he can catch up on her sleep. Janet Mbugua in an earlier letter addressed to her son Huru says that she is not happy and feels low since she cannot do more than she would like to due to her unavailability.
However the journalist consoles herself by saying that the modern mother does all she can, adding that she has in recent times talked to many women who feel pretty much the same guilty but later the guilt goes away.
