Earlier this year President Uhuru Kenyatta made strong bonds with China and the results are evident. This comes after equipment were shipped in by China for the Kenya Defence Forces earlier this week.
The assorted equipment included 36 vehicles and spare parts. The Defence CS, Raychelle Omamo and the Chinese ambassador Liu Xianfa shook hands on receiving the equipment a sign of continuous support between Kenya and China.
The relation between Kenya and China has not only been for development but also in support to fight against terrorism, culture piracy and regional peace keeping missions among other national issues.
Speaking to a source, Defence Cabinet Secretary Raychelle Omamo said this;
“This handover marked the continued cooperation between the governments of Kenya and China, and project future prospects in regard to security, stability and prosperity globally.”
