A known gang that killed two herders in Marakwet East will be smoked out of their hideout if they fail to surrender in two days.
Elgeyo Marakwet county commissioner Fredrick Ndambuki and his Baringo counterpart Peter Okwanyi have given the gang two days to surface themselves if not, a major move will be taken. These two were speaking while calming the angry residents of Endo, Marakwet Eas.
The gang is also suspected to have killed another herder on Friday last week.
The main reasons for this fight is said to be the competition for pastures between the Pokot and Marakwet.
Bowen urged Marakwet residents not to revenge the killings and allow security agencies arrest and prosecute the suspects.
