Retired football player Joe Kadenge made headlines days ago when he made a public outcry to the President that caught the media’s attention.
The retired footballer and coach had requested to meet the President before his death after collapsing in December.
Kadenge received the visit where the President had been accompanied by and First Lady Margaret Kenyatta, Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko, ports CS Hassan Wario and other politicians.
The Presidential visit was also followed with a lot of gifts and financial aid to Kadenge’s home in South B. The President gave the footballer and his family, Ksh 2 million, and NHIF card for him and his family.
President Uhuru Kenyatta promised that his government will set aside Ksh 30 million for the nation’s heroes.
