Kenyans are known to be staunch Christians and bold prayer warriors whose voices scare away the devil.
However, Kingdom Church in Camberwell, London got in big trouble over noise pollution.
Sources reveal that the church was fined Sh1.1 Million for disturbance and noise. This was after residents from around the church went and filled complaints to the police.
The church which is led by one Bishop Climate said that the noises were due to the casting of the demons and witchcraft which are known to be active in the morning.
“it is a well-known time that witchcraft and negative elements begin to work”.
Bishop Climate who is a Kenyan pleaded that the penalty be reduced since they had set up structures to minimize noise coming out of the church.
Sadly, the court found the church guilty for noise pollution and was warned against such acts by The Communities and Safety Cabinet member, Councillor Michael Situ who termed the act as an anti-social behavior.
