A shocking report released by the Kenya police have sent shivers among the Cored fraternity after it emerged that some will face robbery and violence charges which are in the Kenyan constitution punishable by Life imprisonment.
The politicians led by Mombasa governor Hassan Joho who has been in the news lately due to his gun saga could be arrested and charged with violence with robbery during the just concluded Malindi by election.
The charges will also be extended to Mvita MP Abdulswamad Nasir, Governor Amason Kingi, Women rep. Aisha Juma, Senator Madzayo, MPs Suleiman Dori and Agostino Neto for stripping Ms Mary Mwanguo.
The named victims of the reported violence include Mwea MP Peter Gitau Kabete MP Waititu JAP campaign official Justin Rafiki and JAP supporter Fondo Wehu, who were said to have been beaten up and robbed of unknown amount of money.
Mombasa governor Hassan Joho admitted that he received the sermons although he had important things to do but adding that he would only be available on Thursday when he will record the statement. “I just received a call on Monday that I should appear at Malindi Police Station. But I want to say that I cannot do so because I am busy. I can only go there on Thursday at 2pm,” Joho stated.
