Rotten Media: Meet these beautiful women who were denied a chance to be on TV because of their dark skin. Unbelievable!

Kenya’s media houses have become rotten and unreliable. Their ignorance is what is making our girls buy cheap cosmetics to bleach their beautiful African skins just to be accepted in the current society.

Men have also played a major role in ensuring that these women do not feel confident in their natural skin by believing that only the yellow yellow beauties are the most attractive.

This has led to an unbelievable increase in the rate of skin bleaching in the country so to speak.

However, what hurts the most, is the fact that even getting employed nowadays demands one to have a lighter skin for her to appear on TV.

Former Nation FM radio presenter Ciru Muriuki recalls a time she was denied a news anchoring job at a renowned TV station for being black and dark despite being the most qualified for the job vacancy at the TV studio. The same also happened to Sheila Raballa. The media is definitely rotten.
