The Police Force in Kenya has recently faced criticism over several incidences that have tarnished their name. Barely two weeks from the incident that brought the country to a mourning period when a lawyer, his client and a taxi driver dies mysteriously in the hands of the police and the rogue Police officer in Kapenguria who turned to his colleagues killing seven officers, two Police Constables at the General Service Unit (GSU) Training School have been arrested after they were found with 65 rounds of ammunition, gun oil and 500gms of bhang in their house.
Following the incidence, a team of officers led by Inspector Adan Hassan conducted a search at the residence of Constable Joseph Kamau and Constable Daniel Mwangi. Among the shocking items recovered were eleven rounds of AK47 rifle ammunition and bhang. Both officers are being detained at the Embakasi police station pending investigations by the Embakasi DCI boss.
