Just recently Kenyans were shocked to hear how much Jeff Koinange Bags home each month for his show.
And you eint leaving him behind either Shaffie decided to put out how much he earns as well.
Journalism pays quit well and Shaffie, apart from a short stint at Capital FM where he started out, just like almost all the big names in media did, has never worked for any other station for the more that ten years he’s been a radio presenter
And with his big name, comes a fat cheque every month. That explains his lifestyle that include high-end vehicles (he prefers SUVs), living in a posh neighborhood and taking his kids overseas for holiday. Among other things.
So how much does he really take home from Radio Africa?
Well, during an interview with a local publication, Shaffie gave readers a hint of how much he gets paid.
It’s rather obvious this guy is rolling in dough, so this kind of questions doesn’t come as a surprise. When asked how much he makes, he said:
“I’m among the top 15 highest paid media personalities. I get a lot of money. It’s jackpot money! I can give you a ballpark figure -I do not earn as much as the President but I get more than MPs.”
President Kenyatta is entitled to a maximum annual pay is Sh19.8 million (1.6m per month), that is according to the Salaries and Remuneration Commission.
A Kenyan Member of Parliament on the other hand has a basic annual salary of about Ksh8,880,000 (733.333/month).
Make a guess..
