The 2017 general elections are here and Kenyans are anxious about the process that is set to go down tomorrow, August 8.
The President of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta warned media houses and social media to be careful on whatever they give out to the people because of the consequences they might face if they do otherwise by inciting and misleading Kenyans.
This is for fear of another occurrence like the 2007-2008 post election violence that made the country bloody.
Now Standard Newspaper has been criticized by Kenyans for their headlines with messages to different target markets.
The headline for the daily in Kisumu on Sunday August 6th was totally different with the same copy of the Standard that was sold in Nyeri.
The Standard came up with different headlines to appease both Nasa and Jubilee followers and assure them both their candidates were winning.
