The recently concluded Jubilee nominations were accompanied with a few irregularities and one of the affected constituency was Starehe.
Singer Jaguar previously appointed by the President quit his job to run for Starehe seat as the hopeful next MP.
However the nomination process was allegedly tampered with when veteran politician Maina Kamanda was announced the winner.
Jaguar and his supporters protested against the results and it was taken before a tribunal to determine the real victor.
On Thursday May 4th, Maina Kamanda conceded defeat to Jaguar as the youthful politician was given a certificate.
Though Maina Kamanda conceded defeat he was quoted saying this: “We need to be told if the old people have space in the party. I won the nominations but someone else was given a certificate”
