Gospel singer Alemba made a comeback both literally and musically. He returned to his motherland Kenya after relocating to the States half a decade ago.
Soon after landing, rumours started doing the round, or rather people started speculating as to why the singer returned back to the country.
Some believe that MC Alemba was deported from the US of A, especially now that the Donald has been packing people into airplanes and sending them back to their home countries. They say he was forced to come back home and start life afresh.
But in an exclusive interview with Kiss FM‘s Chito Ndhlovu, Alemba sought to clear the air, he said he was not deported but came back voluntarily.
He even joked about the whole thing telling his fans to book a flight for him and so he can go back there then return immediately if that will shush the naysayers.
“Those who know me, they know what happened and what I am doing and again, let me clear the rumours, I wasn’t deported. I was there for 5 years and my papers are actually good and I am a permanent resident. Kuna mahali inafikanga where you need to make some decisions unajua. In this phase of my life, there is something new coming.” He said.
Soon after settling down, Alemba started doing what he used to do best before he left. He released a great gospel tune with Size 8. ‘Bless My Way’ is receiving great airplay.
