Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) CEO Ezekiel Mutua has been labelled as rude and arrogant by social media users after he walked out of an interview with a leading station.
The self-christened Mr. Moral Policeman took to social media to ‘brag’ about the act saying the station, which has now been identified as Ebru TV, kept him waiting for long.
In his post, Mutua said he “was kept waiting for half an hour as they analysed newspapers and ran stale stories” despite the fact that he had shown up at the agreed time, 7 am.
Feeling frustrated, the man who has rubbed netizens the wrong way one too many times, removed his microphone and left. He then went to social media to rant and rave.
Sources privy to the matter have revealed that Mutua was supposed to go on air between 7 am and 8 am.
However, the show has a format where they briefly analyse the previous day’s events and go through the dailies before the guest joins them.
His actions have left a bad taste in people’s mouth, with big a number holding the opinion that he is arrogant and rude.
