A Lion was swept away by floods in Nairobi National Park while trying to escape from the park.
In the recent weeks, lions have been escaping Nairobi National Park to stray along the streets.
The first incident was on 19 February where 5 stray lions were spotted along Langata road Nairobi. No reports of injuries or attacks.
Second scenario was where one man was hurt when a lion strayed on 18 March. The latest incidence also got a motorcyclist man injured by a stray lion at Isinya.
The wildlife service was able to recapture the animals on the first two incidences but the stray lion spotted at Isinya was shot dead.
Wild life service was unable to save the lion which was swept away by floods following a heavy downpour on Saturday.
