Deputy President William Ruto was allocated an extra Sh. 100 million for traveling around the country.
Initially the Deputy President had been allocated Sh. 61 million shillings and according to a close source, the DP William Ruto has exhausted the Sh. 61 million shillings.
The Deputy President has been in the headlines or crisscrossing the nation for Sunday Services, fundraising, politics as well as opening or commissioning key projects under the jubilee.
Earlier in the week the Deputy President accompanied President Uhuru Kenyatta in the Rift Valley region and later Nyahururu and Nyandarua counties where they commissioned various projects.
This comes amid allegations that the government intends to slash monetary allocations for travel allowances and channel the, money towards infrastructural developments.
Meanwhile the government has slashed Sh. 6Million shilling given to former presidents Moi and Kibaki meant for renovation of their offices in Nairobi.
