In a recent TikTok conversation with Nyako, Chokuu addressed persistent rumors concerning his HIV status and offered glimpses into different facets of his life.

The TikTok tandem of Nyako and the prominent gay activist Chokuu has been captivating viewers through their live broadcasts. Their distinctive partnership, once marred by legal disputes, has sparked the interest of a wide audience.
One of the most powerful moments of their live session was when Chokuu took a stand against the pervasive stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS within the context of his sexual orientation.

He didn't hold back, openly criticizing those who had consistently warned him about the risks of contracting HIV based on his sexual orientation. Chokuu emphatically stressed that HIV doesn't discriminate based on sexual orientation and can impact anyone, regardless of their sexual preference.
Moreover, Chokuu dismissed claims about his poor health, emphasizing his commitment to embracing the present moment rather than dwelling on the uncertainties of the future.

He remarked, “For now, we live in the present. In ten years, we’ll deal with whatever comes, even if it means wearing diapers. Maybe we’ll be retired by then. I’ve been in this journey for over two decades, and I’m still here, standing strong.”
“I’ve embraced who I am and living life on my terms. If death comes, so be it. When I’m alive, let me live,” he candidly admitted. Chokuu also revealed a personal facet of his identity, affirming that he identifies as a woman and has never engaged in sexual relations with women.
