YouTuber Fredrick Marwa, also known as Iam_Marwa, is urgently seeking assistance after his Mzungu girlfriend was robbed in Upper Hill, Nairobi. Marwa took to Instagram to share a video capturing the entire frightening incident.
In the video, a sudden turn of events unfolds as a boda-boda rider swiftly approaches, snatches Marwa's girlfriend's bag, and speeds off within a mere couple of seconds. Marwa, visibly stunned, expressed disbelief at the incident, emphasizing that it occurred right beside a police station.
He's literally pleading with his followers to help him track down the thief. He said, and I quote, “This just happened to us! Kindly share it widely to help us. I hope someone helps us identify this thief. This was this morning around 9:30 a.m., Sunday, April 14.
Having recently arrived in Nairobi from our village, we decided to explore the city on foot for sightseeing. Unbeknownst to us, the individual on the motorbike had been trailing us with the intent to commit this crime. We were left shaken by the suddenness of it all—it happened in a mere two seconds.
Rocio was carrying her national ID, GO Pro 10, mobile phone, iPhone 11 Pro, cash, iPods, wallet, and bank cards. The phone location shows it is in an area called Mathare."
The video prompted swift reactions from Kenyans, with many offering supportive messages, while others provided the content creator with safety tips to prevent similar incidents in the future.
