June Chebet Moi, the late former president Daniel Arap Moi's daughter, passed away.

June passed away early on Thursday morning, according to a statement released by Moi's family on Thursday.


"As our family comes to terms with the tragic loss of our sister, we kindly ask for your prayers and privacy during this time of grief. May her soul rest in eternal peace,” the family stated.
