A somber atmosphere enveloped the Kenya Defense grounds in Nairobi as the remains of General Francis Ogolla were brought to the KDF grounds. Wrapped in the national flag, his arrival symbolized his unwavering dedication as a patriotic soldier who sacrificed his life to ensure Kenya's safety.

The Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) met his tragic end in Elgeyo Marakwet when the helicopter he was aboard crashed, claiming the lives of seven other military officers alongside him.

The remains of General Francis Ogolla have now been brought to the KDF grounds in Nairobi, where all members of the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) gathered in large numbers to pay tribute to their fallen commander. As they observed the solemn moment, a sense of confusion lingered among them as they watched the body of their general being carefully removed from the Kenya Airforce jet, prepared to be taken to the morgue for preservation.

Accompanied by other officials who tragically lost their lives alongside Chief Ogolla, their bodies were arranged in the order of command, awaiting the military rituals to be performed by their comrades. Amidst the bustling activity at the airbase, the soldiers stood ready to honor their fallen comrades with the respect and dignity they deserved.
