According to sources, Victoria Rubadiri, a renowned news anchor at Citizen TV, is poised to leave Royal Media Services (RMS) after a prosperous six-year tenure. These sources revealed that she has been diligently working through her notice period and is anticipated to host her final show this approaching weekend.

Upon her exit from Citizen TV, Rubadiri is reportedly gearing up to assume a new position as a correspondent for CNN, focusing on coverage across Africa.

In acknowledgment of her impactful contributions during her time at RMS, colleagues honored her tenure with a cake-cutting ceremony earlier this week.


Throughout her tenure at Citizen TV, Rubadiri held a prominent presence on numerous shows, notably as the host of 'Citizen Weekend' on Saturdays, where she delved into various societal issues and cultural topics. Additionally, she co-hosted 'Sunday Live' alongside fellow journalist Jeff Koinange.

Rubadiri's departure marks a part of a trend of exits from RMS, notably from Citizen TV, where senior journalists such as crime and investigative reporter Hassan Mugambi and TV reporter Chemutai Goin have recently departed
