According to the Meteorological Department, this week will see more rain. The western regions of the nation, the Lake Basin region, and portions of the Rift Valley, including Narok, Nakuru, and West Pokot, among others, are expected to continue to see heavy rains and thunderstorms during the seven-day forecast for the period beginning on Monday and ending on Sunday.

The weather in Nairobi and the central Kenyan counties will be comparable.

Heavy rains will occur in the Northeast and Eastern counties in the foreseeable future.

Mombasa, Tana River, Kilifi, Lamu, and Kwale are coastal counties; they will not experience rain this week.

The Met Department also warns of additional flooding and landslides in locations vulnerable to this.

It advises drivers to exercise caution because the heavy rain and strong winds make it difficult to see on their roads.
