According to recent reports, in response to numerous complaints from Kenyans regarding dishonest agents, the government has taken decisive action.

As per Standard Digital, the government has revoked more than 700 licenses belonging to unscrupulous agents who have been deceiving Kenyans by falsely promising to facilitate employment opportunities abroad.

In light of these developments, Kenyans are advised to verify that agents are registered with the National Employment Authority before entering into any agreements or arrangements.

"The government has revoked over 700 licenses for unscrupulous agents who have been conning Kenyans by promising to help secure jobs abroad", report intimates.

"Speaking in Meru during the inauguration of the Kazi Majuu job fair, State Department for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs PS Roseline Njogu has asked Kenyans to ensure that the National Employment Authority has registered the agents they choose", report adds.

Meanwhile, Raila Odinga, the chief of the Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition, is encountering a new challenge in his bid for the AU position, with reports suggesting that the US may support Djibouti instead.

Adding to the pressure, Odinga faces further obstacles after the Organization of Islamic Cooperation pledged its support for Somalia's Fawzia Yusuf Adam as a candidate seeking to succeed Moussa Faki as the next AU chairperson. This development represents a significant setback for Odinga.
