Addressing the media at Nairobi's Kamukunji Grounds, where Opposition leader Raila Odinga would organize the significant rally, Azimio leaders asked their followers to arrive as early as 4.30 a.m.

"You are all aware that Saba Saba is a momentous occasion. So, starting tomorrow, we will begin writing a new chapter in the history of this venue, led by Raila Odinga. We invite all Kenyans from all walks of life to arrive as early as 4.30 a.m... "We will conduct a very peaceful meeting," Makongeni MCA Peter Imwatok remarked.

"We want to tell the government, especially the police, that if you give us peace, we will give you peace," Imwatoka continued.

"We welcome Nairobi locals to these historic Kamukunji grounds, site of Saba Saba's second liberation... Tomorrow marks the formal start of the 2023 Saba Saba. We want to see a new Kenya. "We'll be here tomorrow to begin the fourth liberation," Mathare MP Antony Oluoch remarked.

The opposition-allied politicians, led by ODM Party Nairobi chairperson George Aladwa, said they would march peacefully to the Nairobi CBD after meeting at Kamukunji grounds, asking police officers for protection.

However, the kenya kwanza side of the bipartisan talks has maintained that the talks are still on because azimio has not officially withdrawn from the talks despite the azimio side singing a different tune.
