A female student who was detained on suspicion of refusing to attend school is alleged to have been repeatedly defiled by a police officer stationed at the Kaptumo Police Station in Nandi South Sub County.

Constable Jared Okada, the suspect, allegedly locked the girl in her cell after receiving her after she was escorted to the station by her parents and other family members, according to OCPD Peter Mbua, who spoke with Citizen Digital over the phone.

Mbua continued, saying that the officer had forced the learner in secondary school to have carnal knowledge as soon as the parents returned home. After that, he turned over the reins to his female coworker, who called the young person out of the cell to give her an explanation for not wanting to go to school.

The girl disclosed that Officer Okada had harassed her sexually.

To apprehend the officer, who was untraceable as of Tuesday morning, the OCPD has committed to collaborating with the Directorate of Criminal Investigation Officers to carry out a comprehensive search.
