A businessman from Nairobi has been accused of fabricating documents related to mineral exports.

It was alleged against Kelvin Otieno Onyango that he faked a Ministry of Mining document by creating one for a mineral dealer.

He is accused of forgery on ten more counts. After entering a not-guilty plea, he was set free on a Ksh. 200,000 cash bond.

The charge sheet states that he registered for the mineral dealer trading license from Metropolitan Express Cargo, claiming it to be an official Ministry of Mining document.

He is charged with forging identical documents for the benefit of other companies.
