Ten directors of private companies in Ol Kalou and officials of the NG-DCF are scheduled to be charged by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) with embezzlement of Ksh.55.8 million. 

 According to a statement released by the EACC on Monday, the 10 are suspected of embezzling money authorized to pay for unfinished road projects in the Nyahururu constituency. 

Ludovick Ngera Gachara, John Kariuki Kimani, Simon Nduati Kariuki, Jerush Waithera Wambui, and Samuel Ngugi Gachuki are among the ten.


The others are Dominic Mulwa Kasina, Titus Kibui Kariuki, Janerose Muthoni Wachira, Peter Mburu Mwangi, and Charles Chuaga Ndung'u. 

The suspects will be tried on 16 counts of economic crimes and corruption, according to the EACC. 

The apprehension occurred on Friday, May 3.
